About Amanda
I grew up in North Delta, BC and moved to Kelowna to complete my undergraduate degree. I graduated in 2013 with a
Bachelor of Human Kinetics and a Minor in Psychology from the University of British Columbia – Okanagan. In the last
8.5 years I have been immersed in a variety of modalities and services that are useful in an occupational therapy and
active rehab setting and have taken a variety of continuing education courses that have allowed me to specialize in a
wide variety of therapeutic services within the scope of kinesiology.
Using varying modalities within the scope of kinesiology I will work with you towards finding the root cause to your pain
or dysfunction. I take pride in conducting personalized assessments and prescribing customized exercise programs that
will help you achieve your goals. During my initial assessments I use a therapeutic approach called Neurokinetic Therapy
that uses sequences of muscle tests and soft tissue releases to restore pain- free range of motion and eliminate
compensation patterns in the body.
